¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ International College Foundation Certificates

• You can undertake a Foundation Certificate before going on to an undergraduate course if you have successfully completed 12 years of schooling in Nigeria and achieved a minimum of UKVI IELTS (Academic) 5.0.Ìý

Undergraduate courses (Bachelor’s degree)

• You can apply to study a Bachelor’s degree from year one if you hold an Ordinary National Diploma (OND/ND) Post-Secondary Certificate, or an Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC)/Advanced National Commercial Certificate (ANCC), subject to specific grades.
• If your highest qualification is a West African Examinations Council (WAEC) Senior School Certificate, you will need to complete a one-year foundation course, such as the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ International College Foundation Certificate, before you can start a Bachelor’s degree.

Postgraduate courses (Master’s degree)

• You need to have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised higher education institution in Nigeria to apply for a postgraduate course at ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ.

Research programmes

• You need a postgraduate degree to be considered for a ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ research programme.

Some courses may require specific or additional entry requirements.

Undergraduate and postgraduate

• IELTS Academic (UKVI or non-UKVI) 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.

Note: some courses may require a higher IELTS score.

• In many cases, in place of a formal English test such as IELTS, you can submit a letter from your university confirming that you were taught in English (providing you graduated within the last 2 years) or a copy of your WAEC/NECO Year XII English score (provided the score was at least C6).

Postgraduate

We award a £3,750 Academic Excellence Scholarship to you automatically if you have a Bachelor’s degree from Nigeria with a GPA of 3.80/5.00 or equivalent.
