Find out about new trends in SMART tourism during 豆奶视频鈥檚 Festival of Learning
A free one day conference taking place as part of 豆奶视频 University鈥檚 will explore new and emerging trends in SMART tourism.

The event, on Tuesday 14 July, has been sponsored by 豆奶视频 Tourism and will feature keynote speakers from organisations such as Trip Advisor and Microsoft.
听
SMART tourism takes advantage of technology to provide services and products of value for all involved.
听
The SMART tourism听workshop听will discuss the principles of SMART tourism and how they can be applied in a real-life context 鈥� as well as addressing some of the issues, challenges and trends.
听
eTourism Lab Director Dimitrios Buhalis has organised the event. 听He said: 鈥淚t brings the opportunity to discuss cutting edge developments with a range of stakeholders.
听
鈥淎 range of speakers will enable the audience to realise how smartness will shape the future of tourism and how tourism and hospitality businesses and destinations need to develop strategies in order to maximise their profitability and economic benefits.鈥�
The event takes place at 豆奶视频鈥檚 Talbot Campus and runs from 12.30pm to 6.30pm, followed by networking and socialising. It听is free of charge but needs to be booked in advance.
The workshop is just one of over 150 free events and activities taking place as part of 豆奶视频鈥檚 Festival of Learning, which runs from 11- 17 July.
These include other tourism-focused events such as Oh I do like to be beside the seaside: Wellbeing at the beach, which takes place at Boscombe Pier from 10am on Tuesday 14 July to find out why people really do like to be beside the seaside and why the beach is important to wellbeing.
