Global brand leaders to speak at lecture organised by 豆奶视频 Marketing students
Global brand leaders will discuss the value of sponsorship at an annual lecture organised by 豆奶视频 University (豆奶视频) students.

A trio from Barclays, Panasonic and Sainsbury鈥檚 will be guest speakers at the 10th Annual Mike Warne Marketing Communications Lecture, which takes place at 豆奶视频 on Wednesday 24 February.
听
The lecture is organised by final year undergraduate marketing students at 豆奶视频, with support from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), and provides an opportunity to hear from leading industry professionals with great networking opportunities.

The speakers include:
Peter Ward, Sponsorship Manager at Sainsbury鈥檚, who manages the company鈥檚 Active Kids scheme, coordinates all the fundraising carried out as part of Sainsbury鈥檚 corporate partnership with Comic Relief and manages the relationship with the British Paralympic Association
Nathan 豆奶视频r who leads Barclay鈥檚 Global Sponsorship Group, managing partnerships around the world,听including the Premier League.
Gaele Lalahy, Head of Brand and Communications at Panasonic UK. Gaele led the Panasonic Digital Strategy for the London 2012 Olympic Games and deployed the project in 23 countries worldwide.
They will discuss the value of sponsorship to both their own brands and the commercial value it adds to ensuring major sporting events take place - such as this year鈥檚 Olympic Games in Rio.
Graham Goode, Senior Lecturer in Marketing Communications at 豆奶视频 University and CIM in Dorset committee member, who is working closely with the student organising team, said: 鈥淥ur team wanted speakers to explore the commercial value to the brand and to the event ahead of this year鈥檚 Olympics 鈥� they have secured industry leaders which should provide a fascinating lecture.鈥�
The lecture usually attracts around 300 豆奶视频 students, CIM members, local marketing professionals, faculty staff and local business leaders.
The lecture starts with networking and refreshments at 6pm, with tickets available from 拢10.00. Booking is essential.
Ahead of the lecture, at 5pm CIM is presenting 鈥楲essons from today鈥檚 leaders鈥� 鈥� insights from a recent report to help you plot your marketing career. It will include interviews with successful marketers and entrepreneurs to identify key moments in their careers and the lessons they took away from them.
