Around 40 ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ alumni now living and working in Dorset got together over breakfast at Urban Garden this morning (18 September).
The networking event was the latest in a series of business breakfast events, organised by the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ Alumni Relations Team, to connect with locally based graduates.
Attendees had the opportunity to meet fellow alumni and ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ staff, before hearing from Mark Cribbs, the founder and owner of the group of venues. Mark shared his own entrepreneurial story and offered insights into ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ’s thriving hospitality sector.
The event was sponsored by , a locally based provider of integrated IT and telecoms services which has a longstanding relationship with ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ. Liam Toms, Marketing Manager at Grapevine, said: “These fantastic events, organised by the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ alumni association, are an important first step in building something bigger, which has the potential to be a thriving, connected community of ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ graduates who have chosen to remain and work in Dorset. ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ students, staff and graduates have played an integral part in Grapevine’s journey as a business - we were delighted to support this event and are keen to continue to contribute to the growth of a local alumni network.â€
