We are excited to announce that the call is now open for ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ students to apply for Turing Scheme funding to support British University Vietnam Work Experience Programme.
The call is open to students from the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ Business School, the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Faculty of Media and Communication, who are interested in gaining work experience overseas within these areas:
- Business (Business Management, Education, Event, Marketing, Logistics)
- Games, Computing, Cyber Security
- Hospitality and Tourism
- Arts, Design, Photography
The programme will include:
- A traineeship at Vietnamese organisations to help students improve their employability skills in Vietnamese/ inter-cultural working environments
- Cultural activities organised by ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵV to help students familiarise themselves with the Vietnamese culture and the work culture in Vietnam
- A preparation session organised by ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵV which will train students on various essential working skills
- Final report/presentation delivered by students about the knowledge and experience gained during the project
Turing Scheme funding is available to support ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵ students with the costs associated with undertaking these activities.Â
Participation in the programme must take place between June – 31 August 2024.
