As you apply for jobs, you may find you have costs such as travel to interviews or new formal clothing to give yourself the best chance of success. Our Careers豆奶视频 Team have partnered with the Enterprise Foundation to offer final year undergraduate students the opportunity to apply for 拢50 to support job interview expenses.听听听听

Who can apply?

Applicants must be UK 豆奶视频 students enrolled in the final year of a full-time undergraduate 豆奶视频 course and meet the following criteria:听

Household income of 拢25,000 or below (as calculated by Student Finance 豆奶视频/Wales/Scotland/Northern Ireland)听

Household income over 拢25,000 (as calculated by Student Finance 豆奶视频/Wales/Scotland/Northern Ireland) and one or more of the following:听

Mature students - HESA benchmark 21 or over at start of course听
Additional learning needs/disability听
Care leaver听
You live in an area of disadvantage*听
Black Asian or Minority Ethnic听
Female students taking STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)听

* You can check to see if you live in an area of disadvantage by searching for your postcode on this . Enter your postcode (i.e. where you applied to university from, not your term-time address), click 'get deprivation data', and download the spreadsheet shown. Check column F (Index of Multiple Deprivation Data). A postcode in IMD deciles 1,2,3, or 4 will mean you're eligible for this funding.听

What can funding be used for?

General funding linked to interview expenses. In most cases we expect this to be for travel or clothing expenses. 拢50 is the award amount so in most cases this will be a contribution rather than covering your full costs. We don鈥檛 require you to have a specific job interview lined up 鈥� you could just be starting to apply for jobs.

In your application you will need to tell us what you plan to use the funding for and 鈥� after being awarded funding 鈥� we may ask to see receipts later in the academic year. Alternatively, you can apply for reimbursement for costs you have already incurred 鈥� in which case you should upload receipts as part of your application.

You can only apply once. Rather than covering your full expenses, this will in most cases be a contribution towards them.听
